Cleanup a Success
After the heavy rains
the week of Oct 9, Wreck
Pond overflowed its banks
and St. Catharine School
had over 2 feet of water
in the basement. Thanks
to the efforts of nearly
300 volunteers, school
was only close for a week
after the flood.

are in the process of arranging
assistance to a small Catholic
school hard hit in this
disaster. Contact has been
made with the principal
of the Good Shepherd School,
located in downtown New
Orleans. She plans to return
on Oct 2nd, at which time
she will assess the needs
of the school, students
and their families. This
is intended to be a long
term connection, not a one
time collection. If you
