This fundraiser will run from September 19 – October 11, 2007.  We hope this will provide a reason to treat yourself or to stock up on holiday gifts.

WRAPPING PAPER SALE
CHAIRPERSON: MICHELLE MCNICHOLAS AND PAT NICKEL
This is a great time to stock up on Christmas paper and everyday wrap, bags and bows.  The sale starts on September 19th and ends October 11th, 2007.

BORDERS BOOK EVENT
CHAIRPERSON: NICOLE DEMAIO AND BRIDGET PANISCOTTI
Join us at Border’s in Eatontown on November 6, 2007.  SCS will receive 15% of the total sales for the day.  If your family would like to donate a book to the Media Center or your child’s classroom, “Wish Lists” will be available.  Volunteers are needed to greet shoppers, at the wish list table, and to read to the children.

SILVER BELL HOMES – CITY SIDEWALKS BY THE SEA
CHAIRPERSON: NORA CONNELLAN AND ROSIE SHARKEY
The first ever SILVER BELL HOMES – CITY SIDEWALKS BY THE SEA will take place on Friday, November 30, 2007 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  The tour begins with a check-in point in Sea Girt and will be hosted at six beautiful homes – three in Spring lake and three in Wall.  Each home will be decorated for the Christmas holidays and will feature five or six out-of-town vendors at each home.  We will be inviting family, friends and our community to come to our event where they can not only tour beautiful homes, but feel as though they are walking into Madison Avenue stores to do their Christmas shopping.  The truly unique vendors will have incredible displays that include jewelry, stationary, clothing, giftware and much more! Volunteers are needed for Hospitality, Sales and Marketing, and Decorating.

BARLOW’S FLOWER MARKET
CHAIRPERSON: JENNETTE CIOCIOLA
Join us at Barlow’s Flower Farm in Sea Girt in May 2008.  This will be a fantastic time to get all of your spring flowers and Mother’s Day presents.  Volunteers are needed to greet shoppers and sell raffle tickets.

GOLF OUTING
CHAIRPERSON: ANTHONY D’ELIA AND TED SHARKEY
The SCS PTA sponsors this fun-filled event every year.  The Golf Outing is our largest fundraiser and the proceeds benefit the advancement of technology for our school.  This year the Golf Outing will be held on May 19, 2008.  The Golf Outing is a huge undertaking and requires many volunteers to work on various committees: raffle sales, silent auction and ad journal sales.   

FAMILY PAVERS
CHAIRPERSON: DINA DAUGHERTY AND CANDI GERARD
Have you ever wanted to leave your mark to say you have been there? Well, starting this year you can. Put your family name or the name of a loved one on a brick paver and “mark” your place in history. The pavers will decorate our lovely new landscaping. Watch for a special announcement about this new fundraising on the website or in our weekly communiqués.
