Enrollment Policy
- Siblings of children presently enrolled in St. Catharine School.
- Children of registered parishioners in St. Catharine- St. Margaret Parish.
- Transfer students from Catholic Schools outside the local area.
- Catholic children from neighboring parishes who do not operate a Catholic School.
- Catholic children of registered parishioners in other parishes with Catholic schools.
- Children of non-Catholic denominations.
Submission of this application DOES NOT guarantee
acceptance into St. Catharine School.
Please review the following steps to familiarize yourself with our application and registration procedure.
All kindergarten students must be 5 years of age on or before October 31, 2008.
Step 1

The ‘Application for New Students, Gr. K - 8’ section must be completed for the child(ren) that will be considered for the 2008 – 2009 school year. You may download the form, complete it, then either mail it to St. Catharine School (2nd & Salem Avenue, Spring Lake, NJ 07762, Attention: Mrs. JoAnn Profita) or fax it to SCS @ 732-449-7876 as soon as possible, but no later than February 8, 2008.
Step 2
- You will be contacted and scheduled to meet with school administration for an interview. On the day of the interview you will be required to submit the following documentation:
- Child’s Original Birth Certificate
- Baptism Certificate
- Current Immunization Record
- For students applying to grades 1 – 8, a copy of the child’s latest report card and standardized tests results.
- If accepted, you will then be given the final paperwork we need for the registration process. We ask that you complete and return these forms to SCS at this time. The Tuition information, Financial Aid information you may take home to complete.
- It is important to note that all completed tuition paperwork, financial aid papers, and registration fee of $100.00 per child must be returned to the Rectory office (211 Essex Avenue, Spring Lake, NJ 07762, Attention: Mrs. Susan Keating) as soon as possible, but no later than February 22, 2008.
If any forms, documents, or fees are missing at time of registration your child(ren) will be placed on a Wait List until we receive them. Your child will not be included on our enrollment register.

Parent Information Session for New Students: Grades K – 8:
This is a general information session for all parents interested in registering students to SCS. Thursday evening, January 24th ~ 7:30 p.m. in the school.
Open House:
Come to see our school in action.
Tuesday, January 29th ~ 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. and 1:15 to 2:15 p.m.
School Mass:
Wednesday, January 30th ~ 9:30 a.m.
